United announces Honolulu-Dulles service; other domestic routes

UPDATE: United apologizes for 9/11 flight number reinstatement

By Michael Garko, In Airline News United Airlines apologized this morning for the reinstatement of flight numbers that were used on two flights involved in the September 11th attacks.  United tweeted: “We regret these flight no. were inadvertently re-instated. We’re taking immediate steps to remove & apologize for the error.”

Poll: United to use flight numbers UA093 and UA175 again

By Michael Garko, In Airline News Less than ten years after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, United has realigned flight numbers, which includes UA093 and UA175 being brought back into usage as codeshare flights on Continental.  Continental is the service provider and operator of the flights.  Give your opinion by voting in our poll.

ROUTE UPDATE: United to link OKC to SFO hub

By Michael Garko, In Airline News According to the USA Today, United Airlines will be launching nonstop flights from Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City to its hub in San Fransisco starting in August.  The daily flight will be serviced by United Express affiliate SkyWest on Bombardier CRJ700 regional jets.
