Sun Country Airlines announced new routes out of its base at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport on Thursday. The airline will relaunch operations to Tampa International Airport, and begin new service to Huatulco, Mexico this winter.
Sun Country will operate four weekly flights from MSP to Tampa beginning December 20. The seasonal flights are scheduled to run through April 7, 2013.

“We’re delighted to add a new airline to our air service options,” said Chris Minner, Vice President of Marketing for Tampa International Airport. “And we’re delighted to connect more travelers from the Midwest to all that the West Coast of Florida has to offer.
As for Huatulco, the airline will fly to the Pacific coast beach city on Saturdays beginning December 22, and will run through April 6.
Sun Country has also announced that it will upgrade its MSP flights to Boston and Seattle to year-round service.
