Bahamasair to replace Vision on Freeport routes

Vision Airlines continues to shed what remaining routes remains it operates, as the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism announced Monday that National Flag Carrier Bahamasair will take over Vision’s routes to Grand Bahama Island.  Beginning May 1, Bahamasair will operate flights from Freeport, Bahamas to Richmond, Va.; Louisville, Ky.; Raleigh-Durham, NC and Baltimore, Md.

The flights will be flown using 150-seat Boeing 737-400 aircraft operated by Xtra Airways.  The flights will include 12 first class seats and 138 seats in coach.
