Boeing strikes mega deal with Southwest Airlines

By Michael Garko, In Airline News Southwest Airlines announced Tuesday morning that it will be the launch customer for Boeing’s newest 737 variation: the 737 MAX.  The airline has placed a firm order for 150 of the aircraft, as well as an order for 58 of the current 737 “Next-Generation” series.
